FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most often about custom matrices, control materials, quality standards and how we work with development teams.
What is a custom processed human serum matrix?
A specially prepared serum product derived from human blood that has been processed to meet specific analytical or manufacturing requirements. These matrices are used as calibrators, controls or sample diluents in IVD assays and research applications.
Can you produce delipidated or charcoal-stripped human serum?
Yes. Our PURIGOLD™ range includes delipidated human serum with ultra-low lipid content for minimal interference, as well as charcoal-stripped serum optimised for hormone and small-molecule depletion. Both can be tailored to your exact analyte targets and pool sizes.
Do you offer bulk custom human serum production?
Yes. We scale from small pilot batches for R&D and feasibility testing through to large-volume bulk production for commercial IVD manufacturing, with consistent lot-to-lot quality at every size.
Are your matrices suitable for IVD assay development?
They are designed for it. Our materials deliver commutable performance, minimal matrix effects and long-term stability, making them suitable as calibrators, controls and sample diluents across clinical chemistry, immunoassay and molecular platforms.
What quality standards do you follow?
JTC Diagnostics operates under an ISO 13485-certified quality management system. All products are manufactured with full traceability from donor to final product, strict ethical sourcing protocols and comprehensive QC testing. Regulatory compliance documentation is provided to support your submissions.
Can EQA control materials be tailored to our scheme?
Yes. EQA control materials can be made to your specific requirements and target values. Removing parameters your scheme does not need improves cost efficiency while keeping the accuracy and reliability of the material intact.
Ready to drive the future of IVD technologies?
