Custom development

When the matrix you need does not exist yet

Defibrination, delipidation, charcoal stripping, analyte-specific depletion, pH adjustment, stabilisation and sterile 0.22 µm filtration are combined into a defined process for your material.

  • Analyte-specific depleted matrices
  • Custom pool sizes and target values
  • Pilot batches through to bulk volumes
  • Full certificates of analysis and traceability

Preparation

Handled by people who understand the assay

Every pool is prepared, characterised and released by specialists who know how a matrix behaves on the instrument it is destined for — because the value of a control is decided long before it reaches the analyser.

How we work

From specification to routine supply

01

Specification

We define the analyte targets, depletion requirements, volumes and stability expectations together with your development team.

02

Pilot development

A pilot batch is produced using the intended process route so feasibility data reflects future routine manufacturing.

03

Verification

Target values, commutability and stability are verified across the relevant analytical platforms before release.

04

Scale-up & supply

The validated process transfers into bulk manufacturing with lot-to-lot consistency and full traceability documentation.

FAQ

Questions about custom matrices?

We keep the full set of answers — on delipidated and charcoal-stripped serum, bulk production, assay suitability and quality standards — on a dedicated page.

Read the FAQ
What is a custom processed human serum matrix?

A specially prepared serum product derived from human blood that has been processed to meet specific analytical or manufacturing requirements. These matrices are used as calibrators, controls or sample diluents in IVD assays and research applications.

Can you produce delipidated or charcoal-stripped human serum?

Yes. Our PURIGOLD™ range includes delipidated human serum with ultra-low lipid content for minimal interference, as well as charcoal-stripped serum optimised for hormone and small-molecule depletion. Both can be tailored to your exact analyte targets and pool sizes.

Do you offer bulk custom human serum production?

Yes. We scale from small pilot batches for R&D and feasibility testing through to large-volume bulk production for commercial IVD manufacturing, with consistent lot-to-lot quality at every size.

Ready to drive the future of IVD technologies?

Our long-term commitment to science, quality and innovation lets us deliver consistent, future-ready IVD materials trusted by partners across the globe.
